Dili, October 28, 2024 – Technicians from the TIC TIMOR I.P. Agency, through the Directorate of Information Systems and Applications Development (DDSIA), provided training on the Web Portal to the Instituto Nacional de Farmácia e Produtos Médicos I.P (FPM) employees.
The aim of the training is to facilitate the employees with ways on how to manage and administrate the portal, with a view to transmit information to the public.
During the training activity, the Head of the Development, Implementation and Systems Integration Department of TIC TIMOR I.P., Mr. Geovannio Frederico de Jesus Vinhas, expressed his gratitude to the FPM for placing their trust in TIC to support services related to technology issues.
On behalf of the TIC TIMOR, I would like to express my gratitude for the trust placed by FPM during these times. This training is not the first, as during the previous government also provided services related to systems—not just the Web Portal—however many other systems that TIC has already developed to support the ministerial line. TIC TIMOR remains committed to interconnecting technologies as part of the IX Constitutional Government’s objective to implement the Electronic Government program.
The Head of the Department also informed that this year, TIC TIMOR focuses on training related to digital transformation for all public administration employees. Additionally, he add that currently, TIC technicians are conducting assessment in all municipalities all over the national territory to get a better grasp of the digital technologies that will be provided next year, aiming to offer training to public employees in which TIC will provide support in collaboration with INAP and the Comissão da Função Pública (CFP).
On the same occasion, the Director of Administration, Planning, Finance, and Human Resources of FPM, Mr. José do Carmo Martins, expressed gratitude to TIC TIMOR, who have always supported them through the mentioned capacity building.
The Director also emphasized that his team feels proud as Timorese for mutually supporting the dissemination of knowledge, and for the future they would like to request TIC to continue providing training on other systems that TIC has already developed.
Meanwhile, the training was conducted in the National Institute of Pharmacy and Medical Products I.P (FPM) building, in Campo Alor.
At the end of the training, TIC TIMOR provided Certificates of Appreciation to the employees who participated in the training.
