Díli, December 2^nd , 2024 – The Executive Director of the TIMOR I.P Agency, Mr. Venâncio Pinto, and the team held a meeting with the Treinocate team from Indonesia at the TIC TIMOR office building in Caicoli.

This meeting was realized with the aim in discussing the purpose of the Treinocate, which intends to organize an international seminar in Díli. Therefore, they wish to establish collaboration with the TIC TIMOR I.P. Agency to obtain necessary support.

In this occasion the Treinocate team also requested ideas or opinions from the Executive Director of TIC TIMOR and the team on how to obtain a suitable or appropriate theme based on the needs of users in Timor-Leste.     

Responding to the matter, the Executive Director of the TIC TIMOR I.P.  Agency, Mr. Venâncio Pinto, also provided solutions on ways in which TIC would be able to provide maximum support to organize this international seminar in a more effective way.

The top leader of the Agency also suggested the Treinocate team to establish collaboration with the Data Center Directorate and the Cybersecurity Unit to organize the mentioned international seminar, with the theme specifically focused on Data Centers and Cybersecurity.

On this occasion, the Executive Director also explained the mission of the TIC TIMOR Agency, which is a state agency that possess its own Data Center, responsible for centralizing all government data in a single location in a more secure way.

This seminar will also involve audiences from state institutions in the ICT field, including universities.

The meeting was attended also by the Account Manager Mrs. Heni Nur Raina, Marketing Treinocate Mrs. Indah Kavaliani, Mr. Ronny Kurniawan, the Director of Infrastructure and Network Services Mr. Andre Felix Marques, the Director of the Data Center Directorate TIC TIMOR Mr. Rusmin Vicente de Fatima Soares, the Head of the Cybersecurity Unit TIC TIMOR Mr. Agostinho Perreira Araujo, and the Head of the Network Infrastructure Department of the Data Center Mr. Agapito dos Santos Barreto.
