ATAÚRO, August 14^rd, 2024 - The TIC Agency TIMOR I.P., through the Information and Application System Development Directorate (DDSIA Portuguese acronym) and the Data Center Directorate, provided training on the Cloud GoTL and Official Email System to the employees of the Administration of Municipality of Ataúro.

The purpose of the training is to facilitate the employees in using the Cloud and the Official Email System, archiving data and sending official documents.

Based on the program of the IX Constitutional Government stipulated in terms of 2.8, which focuses on Information and Communication Technology and 6.7 on ICT policy and Electronic Government, aims to increase training of all employees for the standardization of knowledge regarding ICT in the entire national territory of the country.

At the opening of the training, the Administrator of the Municipality of Ataúro, Mr. Domingos Soares, expressed his gratitude for the availability of TIC TIMOR to develop the Official Email and GoTL Cloud System in facilitating services of the Municipality of Ataúro.

The Municipal Administrator also urges employees to always pay attention and take advantage of the training in order to facilitate the use of the Systems during the provision of services, and at the same time requesting TIC TIMOR to continue in providing necessary technical assistance for the employees whenever they face difficulties.

On the same occasion, the head of the training department of TIC TIMOR, Mr. Norberto Soares Cristovão highlighted that, TIC TIMOR through the Information and Application System Development Directorate (DDSIA) has already carried out the dissemination of information and has provided training of the Systems that TIC TIMOR has developed so far, by existing technical skills.

Based on the request addressed to TIC TIMOR to develop two Systems such as the GoTL Cloud System to facilitate the archiving of documents, calendars, etc. While the Official Email System has the important objective of establishing official communication.

In the world of information technology, people know better Official Email, therefore, TIC TIMOR not only provides it to the Municipality of Ataúro, however, has already provided to various state institutions using the Official Email, among other, State Sovereignty Bodies such as the Presidency of the Republic, the National Parliament and the Court of Appeal.

Through this opportunity, on behalf of TIC TIMOR, they conveyed gratitude to the Municipality of Ataúro for the trust deposited to TIC TIMOR I.P. in developing the Systems, with the expectation that the training will be smoothly conducted.

Meanwhile the training will be carried out for three (3) days at the Municipal Administration of Ataúro.
