ERMERA, JUNE 3, 2024- The TIC Agency TIMOR I.P., through the Information Systems and Applications Development Directorate (DDSIA) provided training in information systems such as Human Resources System, Office System and Cloud GoTL System for employees of Ermera Municipal Administration.

The objective of implementing these systems is to facilitate the institution's work with efficiency, effectiveness and implementation of electronic government to transform manual services into digital ones.

At the opening of the training, the Acting Director DDSIA Mr. André Felix Marques said that TIC TIMOR as an implementer of information and communication technology for all State institutions manages IT infrastructure, application systems and data centers, including providing technical assistance when State institutions need it.

The Acting Director explained the function of the Human Resources System to manage Human Resources related services such as employee data archiving, leave management, performance evaluation, absences and other services. Office System to manage the correspondence administration process such as incoming, outgoing letters and internal letters, how to register and archive incoming and outgoing letters, placing orders and GoTL Cloud System to manage service documents.

He also urged employees to take advantage of this training so they can manage these systems in the field.

Secretary of the Administration and Finance Authority of the Municipality of Ermera Mr. José da Costa Gomes thanked TIC TIMOR for its availability in developing these systems and for providing training to employees on the use of these systems.

The secretary reported: These systems are very important to minimize the cost of surcharges and facilitate the filing of all services at city hall.

They also ask for support from TIC TIMOR to provide technical assistance when they encounter any technical problems.

Meanwhile, the training took place at the Municipal Administration of Ermera for five days. (ICT MEDIA)
