Covalima, October 21^st, 2024, Technician from the TIC Timor I.P. Agency, from the Directorate of Information Systems and Applications Development (DDSIA), provided training on Information Systems, such as the Cloud GoTL System, the Office System, and the Human Resources System to the employees of the Municipal Authority of Covalima.

At the opening of the training, the head of the Capacity Building Department of TIC TIMOR, Mr. Norberto Soares Cristovão, stated that the training aims to increase employees' knowledge on how to use Digital Systems to facilitate their work activities in a more effective and efficient way.

This capacity building also becomes as the important part of the role of TIC TIMOR in the implementation of Electronic Government. Thus, TIC Timor is present here aims to support the Municipality Authority of Covalima in the implementation of Digital Systems.

The head of the Department also informed that the mentioned training is not the last support that TIC TIMOR provides to the Authority, however, TIC TIMOR will continue to provide technical assistance to ensure the sustainability of the Systems in the future. It is expected that this training will enable the participants to obtain the knowledge provided by the trainers, thus, be able to allow them to implement it effectively in their working place.

On behalf of TIC TIMOR, the head of the Department expressed gratitude to the Municipal Authority of Covalima for the trust deposited to TIC TIMOR in developing these Application Systems aimed to facilitate daily working of the Municipal Authority.

On the same occasion, the Secretary of the Municipal Authority for Administration and Finance, Mr. Alberto Moniz de Araújo, expressed his gratitude to TIC TIMOR for their willingness to develop these systems and providing at the same time training on how to use them. Requesting the participants to make good use of this training in order to manage these systems effectively

Meanwhile, the training was held at the Municipal Authority of Covalima for five days. After the completion of the training, TIC TIMOR provided Certificates of Appreciation to the employees who participated in the training.
